Important Announcements
Pictured above are Billy and Renelda Owen, and Richard and Cindy Waters at the recent farewell reception held in their honor. Rev. Owen has been appointed the District Superintendent of the Meridian District, and Dr. Waters has been appointed as the Director of Choral Activities at Eastern Kentucky University. FUMC sends our prayers and love to them as they begin a new phase in their lives.
The church extends prayers and sympathy to Martha Wheeler and family upon the death of her mother, Mrs. Mildred Wood, of Indianola. Visitation will be at 10 am Saturday morning in Newman Hall of First United Methodist Church in Indianola. Funeral service will follow at 11 am in the church sanctuary.
Please remember to pray for Elizabeth Ruth, who is recovering from an automobile accident. She is hospitalized at the Med in Memphis.
Prayers and sympathy is extended to Thomas Hoskins and family upon the death of his aunt, Wende Hoskins.
